2025 OLOL Tiger 10K Run

I ran in the Tiger 10K and and finished in 51:38! It was a great race - run this year in early May 2025 - and the weather really cooperated. My finish times in 2 previous 10K's earlier this year weren't as good as they should have been. I'm not sure why, but my time was improved for this race and more in line with historically how I've finished these races.

The race began right outside Tiger Stadium on S Stadium Dr. We ran through campus down to Stanford Ave and then in/around the Lakes. We finished up the run back in campus and the finish line was ON the 50 yard line of Tiger Stadium! It was amazing to be running on the field and see what the stadium looks like from ground level.

There were almost 4,400 runners registered for this race which included a little over 2,000 runners specifically running the 10K. I ended up running a 51:38 which I was totally pleased with.

I finished 10th in my age group and 312th overall! Really pretty pleased by the results this year.

I'm planning on 4 races in 2026 - 3 repeats and a new race for me in New Orleans:

• Louisiana Marathon Quarter Marathon

• Mardi Gras Mambo 10K

• Crescent City Classic 10K

• OLOL Tiger Stadium 10K

They are all great races - so much fun to run and with great post-race parties/events. Come join me!
