December 2023 and Final YTD Running Update

December 2023 is in the books and it was a strong month with 116 miles run! But even better news on the final 2023 total miles run.......1,206 total miles completed!

I had a slow start to the year running in 2023 and realistically only hoped to get to 1,100 miles run for the year, but I thought that might even be a stretch to get to. I managed to get in a really good running groove starting around May and it continued on through the end of the year. Really quite pleasantly surprised and the final numbers.

The race medals above are from the OLOL Tiger 10K. I finished 2nd in my age bracket with a time of 49:33 which is a personal best for me!

I'm registered for 2 races over the next 3 months or so - after completing the OLOL Tiger 10K in early December:

- Our Lady of the Lake Tiger 10K

- Mardi Gras Mambo

- The Wearin' of the Green Shamrock 5K Run

They are all great races - so much fun to run and with great post-race parties/events. Come join me!
