I had lunch last week at one of my very favorite lunch spots - Martin Wine Cellar (Moss Side Lane) in Baton Rouge - 70808!
This place is truly a hidden gem. Martin Wine Cellar initially opened in New Orleans as a wine/spirits shop with a deli. They've since expanded to Baton Rouge and I can't get enough of their food!
All the lunch food is made fresh to order - it really is some of the freshest food that I've had in Baton Rouge. Price and portion sizes are great as I always get 2 full lunches out of my initial meal. They've also got tons of great wines to choose from along with a highly trained and responsive staff if you have any question about wine/spirits.
Highly, highly, highly recommend stopping in for lunch (and maybe a bottle of wine to take home!)
