Baton Rouge Area lands 2 restaurants on the initial Michelin Guide's 2025 Recommended List! (70806 & 70775)

In 2025 the Michelin Guide issued their first ever star and recommended guide listing for restaurants in the American South and the Baton Rouge Area landed not one but two restaurants on the recommended guild - Elsie's Plate & Pie and the St Francisville Inn!
I've written about Elsie's Plate & Pie multiple times as their restaurant is just a few blocks from my home in Mid-City Baton Rouge. It really is one of the very best restaurants in all of Baton Rouge and their inclusion on the Michelin list reinforces that belief.
It's been several years since I have been up to the St Francsville Inn to eat, but the handful of times I've been there, the food and service have been impeccable!. While Baton Rouge certainly doesn't have the gastronomy reputation of New Orleans, we have more than our fair share of really great places to eat!
