2nd Continuing Education Class of 2026 - Baton Rouge Real Estate

Every calendar year, the Louisiana Real Estate Commission requires all licensed agents/brokers to complete 12 hours of continuing education. One 4 hour class is mandatory for all licensees in the State of Louisiana and the remaining hours are elective courses that individual agents choose.

I completed the mandatory 4 hour course earlier today and it was all about technology, transparency & trust. The off-site class was hosted by Gulf Mortgage Group and Commerce Title with the class itself being taught by title attorneys from Commerce. 7 hours completed and a least 5 more to go!

It was a great class and very informative. The attorneys were knowledgeable and made the 4 hours go by quickly. Gulf Coast Mortgage is a great mortgage lender located in Ascension Parish and has hosted this class for invited realtors for multiple years - I look forward to it every February!

And they feed us very well for lunch:)
