Turner Industries Plans Major Nuclear Manufacturing Expansion in Port Allen, LA 70767!

Turner Industries - a home-grown Baton Rouge area company - has announced a huge investment project in nuclear manufacturing at 2 of their existing facilities including Port Allen, LA 70767!
This project will add 500 direct, high paying jobs in West Baton Rouge Parish with salaries averaging $77,000. Turner will expand it's Port Allen facility which has been in place since 1983 to accommodate this opportunity. It is estimated that an additional ~650 indirect jobs will be created as part of this expansion.
Huge news for both West Baton Rouge and Iberville Parishes and their housing markets. More, good high paying jobs will increase housing demand as well as associated consumer, retail demand as well. This expansion - along with an additional expansion at Turner's New Iberia facility - will bring Turner's Louisiana based employment to over 10,000 people.
Turner's headquarters remain in Baton Rouge and while they now have a nationwide presence, it's great news that they are expanding here locally.
