Stratford Place Subdivision is one of Baton Rouge's best kept hidden gems. It is located in the heart of Old South Baton Rouge roughly bounded by Perkins Rd/Moss Side Lane, I-10, Congress Blvd & LSU's Rural Life Center.

Stratford Place offers very nicely sized lots and generally larger homes - roughly 2,500 - 4,500 living square feet. There are still a number of these homes owned by their original owners, but we are seeing more and more homes being completely updated and sold. Typically we see list prices between $400,000 - $900,000 for these homes. On a per square foot basis, it's hard to find a better value in Baton Rouge when you take location, size of lot/house & property condition into account.

The picture above is a home that I sold. My clients relocated here from the mid-west and fell in love with the neighborhood, house and the walkability of the subdivision. It is also very centrally located to their offices. This home had one owner before my clients completed their purchase and the home had been completely updated & modernized!
