Steele Place is one of the most exclusive subdivisions in Baton Rouge and is located in Mid-City. Steele Place spans 2 zip codes - 70806 & 70808 and is located east of S Acadian Thruway and south of Government.
Steele Place Subdivision was created in the 1940's and many of the homes on the street were built at that time. The lots tend to be larger and host big & graceful homes designed in multiple styles - it certainly isn't a cookie-cutter type neighborhood!
Steele Blvd is the primary street in the subdivision and is a divided street with a tree-filled median. There are a couple of new construction homes that have been built in the last few years, but the vast majority of the homes are original to the subdivision. Homes don't come up for sale that often in Steele Place, but when they do the prices can range from $800,000 - $1.5M!
