Perkins Village Subdivision is a fairly large subdivision located on the east side of Perkins Rd in between Siegen Ln & Pecue Ln in 70810.
Typically the homes in Perkins Village were built in/around 1980 and could be considered a good starter home type of neighborhood. Some of the homes have been completely updated, but others are still pretty original as to when they were built. Typically homes sales prices range between $150,000 - $225,000 for Perkins Village. The location of this subdivision is really good with easy access to Siegen, Perkins Ln, Pecue Ln and ultimately I-10 @ Highland Rd. With the new Pecue Ln interchange getting ready to open up, you know have easy access to Airline Hwy and then south into Prairieville.
There are several vacant lots currently for sale in this subdivision which could be attractive for an investor wishing to construct rental homes. Perkins Village has historically had a relatively high concentration of investor/rental properties. If I had to guess, I'd say that about 30% of the homes are NOT owner-occupied.
