Linde Announces New Investment to Support Blue Ammonia Plant at RiverPlex MegaPark - Ascension Parish 70346, October 2025

Huge economic news coming to the West Bank of Ascension Parish - Linde is investing $400,000,000 to build the largest air separating unit system along the entire Mississippi River Corridor!

This project will be built in the new River Place MegaPlex currently under construction along the West Bank of Ascension Parish in/along Donaldsonville. This new project will supply oxygen and nitrogen essentials to the Blue Point Number One plant.

It is estimated that this will create 15 new jobs while retaining and enhancing 100 already existing jobs. There should also be about 50 new indirect jobs created as this project progresses. This will provide direct economic support to Donaldsonville but will also further strengthen the housing market on both sides of the river in Ascension Parish
