Lake Forest Park Subdivision is a compact subdivision tucked in west of Millerville Rd and bounded by I-12 to the north and S Harrell's Ferry to the south.
Most of the homes were built in the 1970's - 1980's and tend to have brick siding. They are pretty typical starter type homes with living square footages ranging between 1,800 - 2,300. Generally the homes are fairly well kept, but you will run across some that have not been well maintained by their owners. I'd characterize the homes in Lake Forest Park to be generally updated, but there are still opportunities to buy a non-renovated house to update.
My clients purchased this home as an investment property that was also a foreclosure. My client won best and final bidding process that was in place for this in-demand foreclosure. This particular home was in quite good shape for a foreclosure and didn't require a ton of work post-purchase to make it rent ready. My clients closed on the home, made some renovations/updates and had a tenant in the home within 60 days.
