November 2025 Home Sales Statics for the Greater Baton Rouge area are in and at the chart below:

November residential home sales statistics are in for the month of November 2025 and the Greater Baton Rouge residential real estate market continues to plug along!

634 homes were sold in the Greater Baton Rouge Area in November 2025 vs 697 sold in November 2024 with the median sales price falling just a tiny bit from $257,780 down to $255,000. The average days on market increased to 77 days before going pending and historically that is still a good number for home sellers. Normally an average days on market of less than 90 days is considered healthy in our market.

There are 3,329 total homes currently for sale in the Greater Baton Rouge Area with 807 new listings coming on the market in November 2025. Both of those numbers represent a slight increase over the comparable period in 2024, but really nothing to be very concerned about. We have a 4.4 month supply of homes for sale in our market as measured from November 2025's sales velocity - also unchanged from 2024. Typically anything less than a 6 months supply of homes for sale in a market is considered a health real estate market.

The Greater Baton Rouge Real Estate market is chugging along pretty well - we still need more inventory to sell as homeowners are continuing to hold onto their existing homes.

Our market generally held firm when measuring November 2025 vs 2024, but softened slightly in several areas. It'll be interesting to see December 2025 numbers to see if November 2025 was a bit of an anomaly or not.
