Edward Avenue Condominiums Subdivision is a 14 unit condominium complex located in the heart of Old South Baton Rouge. It is a gated community with a lovely pool area for use by the condo owners and their guests. Edward Ave Condos are accessed typically from Perkins Rd to Edward Ave and then through the security gate.

Edward Avenue Condominiums is really unique development in that it is a condo conversion of an apartment complex that was built in the 1950's. The developer came in an turned each unit into a high end, fully renovated condo unit. The units are almost all identical in size and layout with around 1,000 sf of living space and 2 bedrooms with 1 full bathroom.

There are a couple of units where previous owners added a 1/2 bathroom inside the primary bedroom, but otherwise the units are the same. In particular the developer dropped a ton of money in the kitchen with the appliance and granite packages which really make these units standout among their competition. Currently these condos are closing and selling at around $220,000 or so per unit.

The picture above is from a home I listed and sold. I've actually sold 3 condominium units in Edward Ave Condos over the years so I'm quite familiar with the complex and its units. These condos are generally sought after and typically don't stay on the market for long.
