Baton Rouge Shows Strong Job Growth in November 2025!

The Baton Rouge Metropolitan Area showed some very strong job growth adding 2,700 new jobs in November 2025 as compared to November 2024!
These new jobs grew our job employment base to around 438,000 jobs which is greater than this time in 2024 and lifts our total number of jobs back up to levels seen in the early fall of 2025. In addition, the unemployment rate for Baton Rouge fell to 3.9%, .2% below November 2024.
All in, this is a great jobs report for the Baton Rouge area - we are growing our job base and attracting new residents to our city! This continued job growth will incent builders and developers to design and build more housing stock and subdivisions which is a huge win for our housing market!
