Additional National Accolades for Louisiana Economic Wins in 2025!

Louisiana has become the first state EVER to win back-to-back Platinum Deal of the Year Awards!

These awards recognize one economic win for a state per year as measured against all 50 states. In 2024, Louisiana won the award for the Meta AI Data center that is currently under construction in the northern part of the state.

Louisiana won the 2025 Platinum Deal award for the $6 Billion Hyundai Steel's new plant that will begin construction in late 2026 on a 1,700 acre tract of land in Donaldsonville, LA located in Ascension Parish.

This award caps off what was a record setting 2025 for capital investment projects in the state's history. I can't wait to see how - in particular - the Hyundai Steel plant transforms the southern part of Ascension Parish over time!
