Each year all real estate agents and brokers are required to complete 12 hours of continuing education including a mandatory 4 hour class that everyone must complete. I'm happy to report that I've completed 17 hours of CE this year as there were a number of super interesting topics that were scheduled for classes. Here are my completed courses for the year:
Introduction to Mediation (4 hours)
Role of the Buyer's Agent (3 hours)
Navigating the New Normal Mandatory (4 hours)
Successions (2 hours)
What do Mortgage Lenders Do (2 hours)
Becoming a Better Buyer's Agent (2 hours)
I completed all of my classes in a live classroom setting taught by live, interactive instructors instead of the online classes which I believe are much less rigorous.

Ryan Larussa with Synergy One Lending organized his annual continuing education event for real estate agents which allows agents to either get their entire 12 hours or finish up their missing hours over a 2 day event at Sullivan's Steakhouse.

Y'all know I never miss a chance to take pictures of my lunches and dinners so here are a couple of pictures of my lunch. I had the crab bisque and a cheeseburger one day and then the crab bisque and salmon the second day. The food was fantastic as always and the guest speakers brought in for the CE classes were stellar as always!
We as real estate agents and brokers have a duty and obligation to not only complete our CE but to make it a worthwhile learning experience so that we can better serve our clients.
I'm always available to answer questions about specific homes or neighborhoods or the real estate market in general - just reach out and let's visit!
